Avraham Stern
Avraham Stern (, Avraham Shtern), alias Yair (; December 23, 1907 – February 12, 1942) was a Jewish paramilitary leader who founded and led the militant Zionist organization later known as Lehi (called the "Stern Gang" by the British colonial authorities and by their assistants in the Yishuv establishment).
